Accessible Learning Orientation Session
If you are registered with the Accessible Leaning office and planning to write your tests in the Assessment Centre, you can book a one-on-one orientation session before your first test. In this session you can:
- Get a tour of the assessment center, see the different testing room options, and meet the staff.
- Familiarize yourself with the appointment booking site and make a practice test booking.
- Take a practice quiz on Slate (the college's learning management system), and try out the Respondus Lockdown browser (the college's preferred anti-cheating software).
- For students who need text-to-speech software, you can take the practice quiz on Slate using either Kurzweil or Read Speaker (both with and without Respondus Lockdown Browser), or offline using a PDF version of the test in Kurzweil.
